Slateって言葉を知らないばかりに、せっかくのハリウッドでのチャンスを棒に振った訳だ。人生で一番大事な面接だって時に、また英語の壁が立ちはだかって俺の人生を無茶苦茶にしやがった。BET Rap Cityを見て英語の勉強なんかしても無駄だったよ。
そこから少しづつチャンスを掴んで、ドラマ『Silicon Valley』でのレギュラー出演を獲得するまでの話は、なかなかのドラマです。

新しい世界に飛び込み、仲間やメンターに出会って、成長してゆくという冒険は、大人になる過程で誰しも通る道ですが、自分の気持ちにとことん正直に夢を追いかけ続けるとは、なかなか出来ません。
I managed to stumble through this journey with perseverance of immigrants and mindset of American.
I would rather pursue my dream knowing that I might fail miserably, than to have never tried at all. That's how to American.
破天荒ですが、Jimmyの物語は、失敗を恐れずにチャレンジを続けてゆくことの素晴らしさを教えてくれます。
中学生、高校生にお薦めです。
